Silver Spirits - intentional spiritual jewelry of silver, gems and crystals

I work out of my cozy studio in my home.  Most of the work I produce is one of a kind silverwork.  I have gotten back into silverwork after a 27 year break in which I was dabbling in many different mediums of art.  Most recently, glass and stone.

Most of the stonework was cut from granite.  I made designs for tables, counter tops, hearths, entryways, fireplaces and even a shower stall!  I've been playing with the rocks for over 10 years now.

The stained glass was my stepping stone back to silverwork.  I really enjoy creating with the huge array of colors available in glass.  Its almost like painting!

I first learned silverwork in high school.  In looking back, I was very fortunate to have a talented instructor let alone an art department!  I took a few jewelry classes while I was in Seattle a year later.  From there my life led off into college and the horse world.  I've been riding and training horses for the last 30 years.

My future in silversmithing can only continue to grow.  My plans include workshops, trade fairs and seminars.  The first of which I am very excited about will be this summer.  A week long workshop with two world renowned Hopi jewelry artists!  The Hopi first developed the overlay technique and are now the masters of it.
